Natural, beautiful and budget friendly, wood is the most common material used on decks. At MG Decks Inc we take pride in creating beautiful decks out of pile of lumber! Beautiful and on budget!
If you are a handy person and not afraid of a weekend work, wood is a great option! Wood deck will require maintenance to extend it's life span to 15-20 years. It should be washed at least once a year and stained/painted every 2 years or so.
If you like wood then cedar might be a way to go - still requires maintenance but more appealing than pressure treated . Whatever you decide- we're here to help!

Getting a new deck build is often a large expense and we know, that there is very few companies that know how to do it properly.
When hiring a deck contractor in Saskatoon, you should always ask for pictures- make sure those are not from first or second page of Google or Pinterest..., ask for references, have a look at their reviews, ask them about their business name- so many "professional" deck builders on Kijiji without a business name.. Please do your research!
